Ik heb even op het internet gezocht naar de oplossing om het doosje op de site www.somethinginthesea.com op te kunnen lossen. Uiteindelijk is het me gelukt en ik heb even een screenshot gemaakt voor de mensen die het niet zelf willen proberen.

Voor de mensen die hem zelf willen oplossen, hier de uitleg die ik heb gebruikt:

After what seemed like a while looking for patterns and playing with the dials trying to connect things, I figured out that the puzzle isn't with the pattern of signs. It's with the patterns of the dials. The signs are there to confuse you. I noticed that after turning the dials around, the left and right dials had broken edges. After finding that out, it was a matter of arranging these broken sides of the dials in different patterns until I managed to get it open through trial and error.
The middle dial had no broken edge. But it did have a characteristic that the other two didn't have. It had two waves facing opposite directions in the center. Those waves should be facing left and right. You will have the right possition if you arrange the two intertwined diamonds to glow in the upper side of that dial.
The left dial's broken edge is supposed to be pointing to the right so that the bottom right half of the dial is broken, and the bottom left is not. You will have the right possition if you arrange the upside down triangle to glow in the upper side of the dial.
The right dial should be arranged the same way as the left side's. The broken side of that dial needs to be pointing to the right so that the bottom right half of the dial is broken, and the bottom left is not. You will have the right possition if you arrange what appears to be an oval with a vertical line through it symbol glow in the upper side of that dial. |
